Opening Times

We are open 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Places are all year round for 48 weeks per year (closed Bank Holidays 2 weeks at the end of August and 2 weeks over the Christmas and New Year period).

Fees are due for all other absences.

Children must attend for a minimum of 2 sessions (half a day = 1 session).

Early Education Funding

Children aged two (those that are eligible) and every three to under five-year-old are entitled to Early Education Funded sessions.

Early Education Funding (EEF) is available from the term beginning after a child’s 3rd birthday. Some two-year-olds may also be eligible for EEF, please speak to a member of staff for details.

These sessions are subject to eligibility and availability and for 48 weeks per year. The 15 hours per week ‘term time only’ funding is ’stretched’ to cover the full year at 11.75 hours per week.

For information on accessing help to cover childcare costs you can visit: www.childcarechoices.gov.uk and find out what you could be eligible for. This includes: tax-free childcare, 15 hour funding for 2 year olds and 3-4 year olds, 30 hour funding for 3-4 year olds, tax credits for childcare, universal credit for childcare and support while you study.

Some children will be eligible for extra funding through the Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) to support their child’s development, learning and care. It is additional funding provided from the Government to support three and four year olds early education. We love Charlotte’s web preschool. Both my little ones have been going here a long time now and we can see Charlotte has made some lovely changes to the pre-school to improve their learning and environment there. My two year old has met many friends and loves the friendly warm and welcoming staff. They both have their firm favourites and are always smiling and happy when they come out at pick up time. My daughter has now moved on to her school now and still mentions her time at the pre-school and those she loves and misses. My son will be attending until he reaches school age and I will be increasing his hours there too.

From our son’s first day at Nursery we have been very happy with the care he’s received, and reassured that he’s well looked after by the whole team. The communication is great so we know exactly what he’s been up to during the day, and we can talk about what he’s learnt and support what he’s doing at home. All the staff are approachable and friendly and right from his first day have tried to tailor his routine to make the transition of me going back to work as smooth as possible. Benjamin has a dairy intolerance and the staff have been great at making sure this is adhered to as well!
